We stayed in Hamilton for a few nights during January 2015. We discovered Jackson's Emporium on our first night and ate there whenever we could over the next few days! Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Can sit inside or outside in their lovely little courtyard garden. The fresh berries with berry sorbet was amazing. Lovely friendly people. I highly recommend this place!

So four weary bikers trudged into this little gem after 3 hours of horrendous Tassie weather... It was like heaven tucking into delicious homemade meals, big breakfast, Thai chicken green curry, chicken and corn soup and scones... A variety of foods available all day. The food was absolutely delicious! Hearty, warming and filling and we ended up getting seconds!
Great coffee too! Beautiful service as well.

We chanced upon this quaint little cottage by accident - and thank goodness we did! Roger showed us through and I was captivated. Fire places ready to light, a gorgeous rambling garden to explore with fresh berries, and an abundance of old world charm that I will remember forever. Oh and not to mention dinner, home delivered to our door using locally sourced produce and fresh goodies from the garden. Fresh organic, local eggs in the fridge ready to cook for breakfast, I was in heaven. Our stay here was the highlight of my holiday. I didn't want to leave!
